| My name is Edgar Lim, I am 41 years old and I have been happily married for 15 years to my wife Denise. I am also a proud father of three beautiful children. I have a 6 year old daughter, 5 year old son and a 17 month old boy. I live in Chula Vista, California where I have lived for 40 years. Chula Vista is about 10 minutes South of Downtown San Diego. Chula Vista is also home to the U.S. Olympic Training Center and if everything works out, it will also be home to the San Diego Chargers. I am half Chinese and half Mexican; Chinese from my dad’s side and Mexican from my mom’s side. Growing up I had many comments on what an odd mix I was. It is a little different, but not uncommon from where I was born. I was born in Tijuana, Mexico, 20 minutes South of San Diego. (If you think my mix is different, my kids are really different, they are a ¼ Chinese, ¼ Mexican and ½ Japanese). I had a good childhood growing up; I grew up with my two younger brothers and cousins and for the most part staying out of trouble. I would have to say that the best part about growing up when I did was that we could jump on our bikes and go exploring all day long by ourselves and not have our parents worry about us. Times sure have changed, we can’t even have our children play in the front yard by themselves without supervision these days. I also have a younger sister but she missed out on all our fun stuff because she was born when I was 20 years old. I like to tailgate at Chargers games with friends and family, go to Padres games at Petco Park, golf, snowboard, learning to play guitar and I like to read books on self and business development.I am learning to play guitar and I am also looking forward to learning song writing. My kids really love music and I hope by them watching me play the guitar it will inspire them to learn a musical instrument. |
